Sport in our school Our school has been the leader in our district for 5 years already. It's also known by its sport achivements throughout the city. The participation in the athletics meeting has become a good tradition for our school. Usually we take part in the following kinds of sport:
During the physical training class our teachers pay a great deal of attention to turning sport into a priceless asset. The teachers don't use compulsion but cooperation. They want to make the lessons more attractive to students and interestingso that all the students could see the necessity and the meaning in these classes. School #99 was the 6-times winner of the athletics meeting of the district. We've been especially successful in floorball, basketball and volleyball. The boys are the members of the city floorball team and the bronze medal winners of the national teenage floorball tournament. The girls are the 2-times winners of the city floorball tournaments. Our school's graduate Babeshin Alexey used to be the captain of the national youthful volleyball team. Now he is a student of the Omsk State University of Physical Training and he's also a member of the Moscow team - "Dinamo". Our girls are the repeated handball city champions and the participants of the national championship among the young people in Izhevsk in 2003. .
Undoubtedly, the main object of our pride is our former student - Alexey Babeshin who proved to be the best with his team on many competitions. Thanks to his strong will power, he always managed to reach his goal. A little bit about him: Alexey Babeshin The key dates of his life
